There's a ghost on Bummer Hill Road. My neighbor, who lives on the other side of the property, saw a Hawaiian guy in a flannel shirt in his room late at night. When he came back into the room with his roommates, the guy was gone. The only exit he could have left through was locked from the inside. My dad's girlfriend has sensed non-malevolent spirits around the house. Dad said to me yesterday, "I think these indigenous people have a higher sense of spiritual things." Yeah, HIGHer alright.

I read The Catcher in the Rye. I enjoyed it a lot. I was put off initially by the pessimism of it, but that changed. Despite my stigma against fiction, the book eventually enthralled me. It was, by far, the longest book I've ever read in a day.

Melanie is someone I really appreciate a lot. I don't know exactly what it is, but there's something really special about her. Sometimes, I worry about her a lot. But the most important thing to me is that she's happy.
